Sergei Kravinoff, the son of Russian mobster Nikolai Kravinoff, is the main character of the movie. After a terrifying encounter with a lion as a child, Calypso Ezili gives Sergei a magical potion that gives him skills akin to those of hunting animals. As an adult, Sergei, now known as Kraven, works with Calypso to bring down an infamous poaching ring run by Aleksei Sytsevich, especially after his brother Dmitri was abducted.
